Question USB loading help... Mario problems :-)

    Hi there!
Have a 4.1E Wii, which has wiikey 1 and is also softmodded to allow me to play games from USB. Currently using a 500GB WesternDigital USB HDD with USBloader GX.

Have been happily playing NSMB since Xmas, but decided to also load Mario Kart onto the harddisk. Ever since, I am unable to play either game. I can start both games and get through the splash screens and game selection but as soon as the real action should begin the screen goes black. The harddisk is still alive, and have also tried running the games from the old SD card i used to use.

I think all my IOS/cIOS are as they should be - and have reinstalled them to be sure. But the situation persists. Have done a search and tried employing some of the suggestions. Have tried using NeoGamma which also used to work with NSMB - no joy.

I can still play many other games from the USB harddisk using USBloader GX.

Any ideas on what causes this/what the fix is??? Really appreciate the help.

Oh... and the DOP Mii report is below if that is of use to anyone. Have checked the IOS and versions with the referenced list on Wiihacks...

Have read through the forums for most of the day and there seems to be many people with Mario Kart and NSMB problem same as mine... and no one has got a definitive fix as yet. Is there really no solution? I am guessing it is something to do with the IOS's but although no amateur I am not sure what to do next.

    Anyone got a thought?

A black screen usually means a missing IOS. According to Which IOS Games Use To Run, Mario kart wii uses IOS33/36-64-v1040. You do have IOS 36 installed, but not IOS 33. This might be the problem. Tru installing it using DOP-Mii.

For the rest, your sys check seems just fine.
Awesome sig picture does not work
