WiiFlow is more than likely searching for a wbfs partition, which it sounds like you do not have. There is a way to have a wbfs folder containing the games, witin an NTFS partition, but not sure how that is done, or if it will even work with WiiFlow. I have my HDD split with fat32(100 GB)/ NTFS(100GB), and the remaining space is WBFS containing all my wii games. This way WiiFlow is extracted directly to the Fat32, channel wad installed via wad manager, games on the wbfs partition.
The link in my sig for playing games from usb will provide everything you need for creating/formatting a WBFS partition, as well as wbfs manager for installing games to the HDD.

Thanks a lot, man. My harddrive is exFAT? Could that be the problem? I'm on Win7 so I cannot do FAT 32

I'm assuming you do not run off of a SD card. Which parition do you put the things like the app, wad and wiiflow folders?

Basically I make a sizeable fat parition, another sizable ntfs parition, then just leave the rest for games. I have a 500gb WD Passport(compatible). So 100gb FAT, 100gb NTFS, leave just leave the rest to be formatted for the WBFS? For the WBFS would I just leave that as raw rather than NTFS?

Okay, sorry, I wasn't thinking. THanks for everything. I have it all divvyed up now. I formatted the leftover to WBFS through the manager. I was able to get FAT32 with WIN7 so it's all good. If it works (hopefully), I'll let you know.

I am on Win7 also. I think I used Easus partition master(google) to format to fat32. From there you can split the HDD into your seperate partitions. You can make them whatever size you want. WiiFlow and all my other apps run from the Fat32. I just use the NTFS to store bluray rips, as most are over 4 GB. The link in my sig will explain in detail as to format your WBFS partition.

Also double/triple posting isn't allowed. If you think of something after posting just edit your prior post. You will have to click the edit twice to get it to load properly.

I saw this on another thread
I figured out the problem. Somehow the SD card also got the wiiflow directory. When I deleted it the wiiflow directory on the USB was used instead. Would like to know why wiiflow would create the directory on the SD card when it already existed on the USB drive. According to the directions the wiiflow.ini is created at first run.

    Problem solved...thanks
I tried it and put the wiiflow folder onto my USB drive; didn't work. I can't get the apps part to run off my hard drive, so it's running off my card which is fine by me. I'm just don't understand why it continues to say please wait. I took the wiiflow folder off my sd and put it on my usb drive then added in the wiiflow.ini "data_on_usb=no" so it would look for the necessary stuff on my sd.

This is what it looks like:
    SD:/apps
    SD:/fceugx
    SD:/genplus
    SD:/smsplus
    SD:/snes9x
    SD:/SoftChip
    SD:/vbagx
    SD:/wad
    SD:/wii64
    SD:/boot.dol
    SD:/hacks
(( the wiiflow in the apps has a boot.dol as well))
then I had the HDD partitioned to FAT32(active, primary) which has the actual wiiflow folder. Then I have a NTFS partition and also a WBFS one for the games.

Hahah, I know. I don't want to switch either. My aunt modded hers the same way I did and has NO problems. I want to stay with wiiflow but I don't know what is wrong with it. It's so frustrating.

Um, I don't think I do. How do I get a hold of it?
I'm have a black 4.2u wii and my wii is 1.1, just in case that changes anything.
If this works, you are awesome.
