*Sigh* HardDrive not being read by Wii...Help?

It was working fine, but I plugged the harddrive into my computer and it wouldnt let me open it unless if I formatted it....So after I did that , I plugged it back into my Wii in order to install the games again (it was only two , which is why I didnt mind) and in the process of doing that I got an error which I had encountered before (I would click to install the game and then I just get an empty message, USBLoader GX) and the way I fixed that was by using CIOS_Installer (might be wrong) and from that point, i installed "Default 222" and than chose the recommend option. So after that was done, it took me to an empty homebrew channel, so I restarted my Wii and when I checked the homebrew channel it was still empty, any ideas why??

Note When I press 1 on the homebrew channel it doesnt allow me to select any of the top four options.

    Thanks in advance

Next time, don't reformat your HDD once you have formatted it to WBFS. Windows will not recognize a WBFS partition, that's why it asked if you wanted to format it. Next time you see that message, select no. Then, open WBFS manager and load your usb drive there.

The homebrew channel will display from the SD:/apps folder, if you have removed your SD card or removed all the apps from the apps folder, the homebrew channel will be empty.

"SD" partition? There's a USB HD tutorial here if you're needing guidance.
