    usb ports on wii

oka so i think ive come to a conclusion that my usb ports do not work. ive been all through the forum and after trying several things ive see none of them work. ive looked throughout the site trying to find an answer to this question so unless i messed up and skipped it can somebody answer this for me. Can you partition your sd card to hold the usb loader and the game so you dont have to use the usb port on the back of the wii to play the game? and if you can is there a tutorial on how to do this?

[edit] the reason i think there is a problem with my usb ports is because i get the error that says Error: could not initialize usb subsystem! (ret= -6) <-----not -1 -6. ive seen the fix for -1 and mabye its the same thing but im not sure.

That message could mean you have no custom IOS installed. So can you let us know what you have installed.

Edit: Apparently you can use the sd card for loading games.

You may wish to consult the Error Index for both the diagnosis and solution (this error is in there).

The link is not down. The site is just having some issues right now. Search error index and it should let you access it.
    Damn I suck!!!!

A custom IOS249 is needed for usb-loader. I would suggest starting with rev17, you copy the installer to the SD:\apps folder and run it from the HomeBrew Channel. Have you got the HomeBrew Channel installed?.
