Sandisk Cruzer Micro 16GB problem. Please Help.

    Hello,

I have a Sandisk Cruzer Micro 16GB, as stated in the heading, it is on the list of compatible devices. But WBFS Manager 3.0.1 will not format it, so I can not put any games on it. I have been using burnt disc games for now but I'd like to change to a USB, and I am not to willing on buying a new portable hard drive.

So could anyone please help me figure out how to make it work in WBFS Manager?

    Thank you.

Did you load the device first? Click the load button and select your drive letter for the USB stick, then click the format button.

I don't know what that usb stick cost, but I just bought a 320GB USB HDD for $40.00 (USA).

I don't know what list you refer to (there are a couple), but anything above 8gb and you start running intro problems. I'm not sure what the determining factor is (why it works for one, not for another). Stomp is correct in that a viable (and ever cheaper with recent price drops) alternative is a USB HD. I realize that isn't an answer, just saying...

Sandisk Cruzer Micro 16GB is a USB stick, not a microSD. The only reason I know that is I have the 8GB version and it is compatible.

Looks like it's my turn to go "duh," sorry --- Stomp of course, is quite correct. I had a SDHC/MicroSD brainfart, user said USB stick.

Have you tried to reformat the usb stick with windows first, then try to load it with WBFS manager?

Right, I made an error in my original post on this thread. Apologies, it's late and I'm to get up in 5 hours, 20 mins from now so off to bed I go...

Yes I have I've formatted it multiple times Ntfs, Fat32, even regular Fat. I did quick and slow formats.
