Wii Backup Manager
I downloaded a game that was a .WBFS file rather than an iso file, after searching the forum i found that i need to use Wii Backup Manager to put the .WBFS file onto my HDD...
When i do what it says...
'Select Drive 1'
It only brings up my (c) Drive & (I) Recovery drive... it will not pick up my WBFS (J) HDD drive... so i cant put the game into it!!
Am i doing anything wrong????
Go to Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Computer Management -> Disk Management and see if it comes up there. If not, Windows isn't finding the drive. Have you loaded games with this setup before?
Also, check your USB connections, try another port.. can't hurt.
You can try another loader, like WBFS Manager if windows sees the drive but Backup Manager isn't working.
Try Wii Game Manager it has auto WBFS detect - Check Sig

Yep ive got loads of games on this HDD, but they were all downloaded as iso files, it's the first time ive downloaded a .WBFS file, it's worked fine all along!!!
I already use WBFS manager and this recognises my HDD, but you can't use this to put .WBFS files on it.
Cheers renke_uk, I'll download wii game manager,
Do you think it's not detecting it..
Because: when I attach the wii HDD with games on, it's says it's not formatted.... Which ive kept this way because it says so on one of the listings here, about putting games on WBFS manager
A PC can't normally reada WBFS formatted drive and just see's it as requiring formatting.
I Prefer a FAT32 formatted drive with the game in .wbfs format, that way you can see what you have from your PC.
