Use netbook as a USB HDD?

So I have a cord with a USB on both sides and I have a 160GB HD netbook, I was wondering if rather than buying an external USB HD to put/load my games from if I could directly connect my laptop to the Wii and load games ISO's through Neogamma on there. Anyone know if this would work? I'm currently working on backing up my games so I can't test it yet but don't want to go ahead and do anything that could possibly harm my Wii. Thanks so much!

Unlikely. Don't be tight, go out and get one.

Thanks for the quick response! I know you said not to be tight, but would an iPod touch work as a HD if not the laptop?

People have tried, but usually fail. There is a guide here, but again don't hold your breath.

Thanks so much! Ill probably give that a try and then just buy a HDD if that doesn't work.
