My Wii might have been softmodded?

Hi, I've just bought a new Wii set. Its a Korean version changed to US i think. Right now its Ver. 4.0U.

Okay so I have been reading up on softmodding guides on installing HBC and Bootmii etc. But then i realised my Wii has already HBC, Wiiflow Starnight, USB Loaded CFG v56 installed.

    So my questions are:
    1) is it safe to say that i can already play downloaded games (say plugged in with harddrive)?
    2) i've read about backing up my Wii with NAND, how can i go about doing it? (tried going to HBC and launching Bootmii but i got a blank screen, had to cut the power off)

    Thank you for your time

    1) Its a possibility u would have to try.
    2) U need the bootmii files on your sd card if u read the first few paragraphs in the 3.1-4.1 softmod guide u will be able to recreate them. link in the guides and tuts linked below.

hey pob3008, thanks for the quick reply.

Regarding the guide, if i understand it correctly, basically i will need the Bootmii files for the Bootmii to launch right? For some reason i can't download the files using the 3.1-4.1 softmod guide link. So i google'd Bootmii and downloaded "HackMii Installer v0.6" and copied the "boot.elf" file into my SD card.

I loaded the boot.elf as the guide and i think it failed somehow. So all i got now is the "boot.elf" file and a "installer" text document. I tried to launch Bootmii from HBC and then my screen blanked. How else can i get the Bootmii files to launch Bootmii?

    Am i doing anything wrong??

For your bootmii problems -- Do Section 3

For your hackmii installer problems -- Do Section 1
