As for downgrading, I saw no reason not to. The procedure looked sound, many people had done it without problems, and there were some anti-piracy measures it was supposed to remove.

If you have no idea how to help, that's fine, I just want to see if anyone here has experienced this problem.
You do know as a general rule IOS 249 for most games is expected for use; perhaps you should try it as well?

Lol, yep same exact guide alright. Why don't you do yourself a favor and just go to our guides section and start all over with one of ours.
There were so many FAIL statements made in your post, that there is no way it could work.

Hopefully it was a "free" guide and only resulted in lost time.

    I did. Same deal.

As for you oddgriffin, if you could explain what my FAIL statements are and why there is no way it could work, I would be grateful.

I'll let Odd handle the first part. As for this part, please tell me where you are now (hint: it ain't where your beloved guide came from, right?)

What, specifically, do you want to know?

^At least the guide he followed had him install a non-stubbed IOS60, otherwise he'd be posting in the bricked section. As for the LU64+ warning/age of the Wii, I do not know the impetus for this, but I absolutely trust Dogeggs without reservation on that particular matter. Hopefully yours isn't new (but I suspect otherwise).

If you factored in how many users have come to our site after following failed guides who successfully got their Wiis softmodded, that illustrates Odd's point. Let me ask you something: your posts are becoming more of a troll than constructive dialogue/feedback, there a reason for this beyond the obvious? I suspect this thread's about done, but it won't be by my hand.
