Ca I need help on USB LOADER GX

Hey, I am very mad. I tried for hours little luck. I have a black Wii. A 1TB Harddrive Partitioned in 500GB Each. The usb loader GX loads up my harddrive and I see all the games and here the sounds. When i click on the game to play it gives me a black screen. Nothing happens after that. Can someone please help me

Try an older version of USB Loader GX or a different loader all together and see if that helps.

I am assuming that yuo are softmoded. What guide did yoyu follow?

I used someones step... it was this advice I used to softmod it

B1) GET THIS PACK(Thanks to Dogeggs, he sure made the trick... this will probably work for anyone) or GET THIS PACK 2 or GET THIS PACK 3 (pick start with the first one, if you get an error pick the next one and follow instructions from B2 and on again. One of this will do the trick without an error. If still nothing, try this)

B2)Format the SD card, with FAT32, place the contents of the included folder in the SD card root. Only files in SD root should be:
    root:\Wad\
    root:\bootmii\
    root:\startup.elf
    root:\boot.dol
    root:\00000001\ <-(if available)

B3)Place the SD card in the wii, start HBC and press home ar the main HBC screen. (If your wii boots to Bootmii, just go to B5)

    B4)Select bootmii and wait.

B5)Wadmanager should start.(On ios select, select ios36, or try a few, 249, 250 dunno,we are scratching our heads with this)!!

B6)Select SD card and press A to continue.

B7)Select ios249 from wad folder and press A

B8)change the action to "uninstall wad", press A

B9)Done!! now to the next step!!

PART C: The installation of our beloved cios38rev14

Now that we deleted the stupid stub, the place is free so thet we can isntall cios!

C1)NOW GET THIS PACK or THIS PACK 2

C2)Format the card with FAT32, download the file above and place the contents of the "Place to SD 2" folder in the SD card. It should only contain the included files:
    root:\ios38-64-v3610.wad
    root:\bootmii\
    root:\startup.elf
    root:\boot.dol
    root:\00000001\ <-(if available)

C3)Place the SD card in the wii, start HBC and press home ar the main HBC screen. (If your wii boots to Bootmii, just go to C5)

    C4)Select bootmii and wait.

C5)cios38rev14 installer should run and give you some options.

C6)At the beginning you should see ios249 highlighted. Keep pressing left on the wii pad until you see "Do not reload IOS" at the ios select screen, press A. (for some reason that neither I nor the other follows here seem to understand, this does not work for everyone. If this fails, try again using 249, 250, 222, 223, 36, 37... and others. Switching to one of these may work for you. be sure to restart your wii after each attempt)

C7)If you have internet connection, select "Network install", else select "SD card", Press A.

C8)Proceed with the installation, and you are done.

FAILTUBE videos are bad news and unsupported. Yes, try either Shadow Sonic or Messie's guides for 4.2 and do not link to FAILTUBE videos (I'm hoping you're getting at why they're called this now).

There are two different routes that you can choose for modding your wii. You can either Hard-mod your wii with mod-chips or you can Soft-mod. We have a in-house trusted supplier for mod-chips Here, very trusted site, and great customer service. When and if you going to hard-mod your wii there is a great section here on the forum. Mod-Chip Section
    ---
On the Flip-Side you can soft-mod you wii using only a SD Card... The guides that are here have been tried and tested and do work... DON'T FOLLOW FAIL-TUBE VIDS.... The first step that you need to do is find out what system menu version your wii is. After you find out that piece of information there are two guides that you can use.
If you are on 3.1-4.1 system menu you can use the guide by dogeggs: [[Guide]]
If you are on the 4.2 system menu the you can use the guide by Shadowsonic2: [[Guide]]
    ---
Along the journey of modding your wii you might run into errors when trying to mod the software or install software on your wii. Members have created a list for this and can be accessed here: Wiihacks Error Index, most if not all of the errors are in there and how to fix them. If there is a certain guide that you are looking for or dont know if there is one yet well look no further: Wiihacks Guide Index (by username)

OK to make things easier, The harddrive that I am using is tested and works with my others friends wii.. It was a copy from hard drive to hard drive. Mine was plugged in and works. In my black Wii I hacked it and followed all the steps and it works fine but not with USB Loader... I have all the downloaded covers and all the games displaying but when I click a game which i tried with multiple games it gives me a black screen... the controller is still synced but nothing displays... I have to reset it phyiscally. This is very stressful, can someone tell me what I can do! Thanks!

Which only shows the HD isn't the problem, but rather following a FAILTUBE video as previously stated. And please use the "edit" button, otherwise this appears as a form of thread bumping (against the rules).

Maybe a faulty version of USB Loader GX (I'm assuming that your loader). Try an older version or a different loader all together.
