No emulation programs reads the HDD from any forwarder channel

When I try any channel forwarder for snes9x-gx\ScummVM\vbagx, it starts up fine, but it cannot see the FAT32 partition, which is where the roms are. It says invalid media.. I have tried soo many without luck.
Mind you when running off SD or HDD from HBC it works fine. Triiforce works fine from a channel off the hdd also.

I was ablte to find this thread which has has mentioned my same issue (#13), with out any solutions really.

my partion 1 is WBFS and part 2 is the FAT32.

Is the fat partition primary and active?

Also make sure you do have IOS 202 installed and your FAT partition is marked to active.

I thought that could have been the issue, but WBFS needs to be active...I originally tried an active FAT32 but the WBFS would not work
I will check, but I am pretty sure IOS 202 is installed.

Wait a minute.... I noticed you posted that they work fine if you launch the app from HBC channel. You indicate the issues only occur IF launched from forwarder correct? Are you sure you actually have forwarders then and not full channel installs that somebody only configured to launch off of SD?

I'm just guessing here, but I know I have done this by mistake once and was banging my head for about and hour one day. I installed a full integrated SNES9x which was ONLY set to look at SD:/snes9xgx/roms....

Also, I have now 3 hard drives all 3 configured as WBFS first, FAT32 second and FAT32 set as active partition. In Configurable USB Loader you can select WBFS partition.

either forwarder or full channel, it starts up, but then when you browse it cannot see the FAT drive
maybe it is the integrated snesx
i use wiiflow and scared to change tha activation as i did this before and pooped up the hdd< had to then reformat everthing

let me clarify my above mistakes:
    FAT32 is primary and active
I don't have IOS, here is my signchech bellow. Can someone confirm whether it is as simple as installing IOS 202 to get channels reading the second partition?
Is there anyone who is running a full channel of snesxgx that reads the second partition? tell me where you got it from so I can try it if possible

    You need IOS 202.

    4.1.6 - March 30, 2010

    * New core! Updated to Snes9x 1.52. Old save states will not work!
    * DVD / USB 2.0 support via IOS 202. DVDx support has been dropped. It is highly recommended to install IOS 202 via the included installer
    * Multi-language support (only French translation is fully complete)
    * Thank you to everyone who submitted translations
    * SMB improvements/bug fixes
    * Minor video & input performance optimizations
    * Now uses .srm files without "Auto" appended, if found
    * Added option to disable crosshair

    Snes9x GX - WiiBrew

I would stick with Hermes V4 for now though.....

Ok, I installed it off Snes9x GX - WiiBrew google code, and it does not work I guess because it needs to be Enabled. How is that done?

Do I need to follow Stomp_442 guide with the v4 dowload? What I am looking for is specific instructions for v4 IOS 202. Am I to precious with my thinking?
