System Update for wii With Mario Galaxy 2!

ok have softmode 4.2u, here is my ? Went to rent mario galaxy 2 and when I put the disk in and when the wii menu comes up it says where it should show the mario galaxy 2 logo and says system update, now I looked online and it said that game needs cretin updates to play. Ok so when I clicked on it a message pops up and say that if you have any mods and update this it could delete any mods and that if you do not accept the update some games can unplayable. So there was no way around this for just to play the game its self so I did the update and Yes now when I click usb loader gx it does not work lol.. Anyone have an Idea what can be done to fix this?

resoftmod using the 4.2 guide and do yourself a favor and install priiloader to BLOCK DISC UPDATES. Rule of thumb: Updating usually ends with weeping and tearing your garments in anguish.

I wasn't being rude at all. I was giving you advice about how to avoid this in the future because we see it all the time.

Then... you can spend a few days in the reading room (is what I think narse was leading to.) Agreed.

Thats actually good advice from junkmail. You do want to block the Disc Updates. Otherwise you may end up updating somewhere down the line. I dont see whats wrong with that.....?

Yeah junkmail stop being a jerk and offering that helpful advice. It's like you want the guy to have as few problems as possible or something.
