An error has occurred. Press the Eject Button, remove the Game Disc, and turn off

I've read through the forums on this error "An error has occurred. Press the Eject Button, remove the Game Disc, and turn off the power to the console. Please read the Wii Operations Manual for further instructions." Everyone seems to be having a problem with reading discs and blaming it on the laser or some other program they installed. My system was recently updated using the 4.1u method provided on this site and prior to that never had an issue. My system will allow me to play a game from my hard drive for about 20mins before it throws this error at me. No discs involved at all, there isn't anything in the drive period. What is causing this problem? Is there a way to revert back to my old setup? I didn't have it setup for wiiflow but hell I didn't get disc errors either. I can run games from disc with no problems.

500G My Passport Essential ... it's on the list as far as I know ... I've been playing Super Mario Galaxy 2 now for about and hour and a half, but when I try to play New Super Mario Bros without the disc it gives me a disc read error after about 20mins, with the disc I have no problems playing for a while ...

You think maybe it could just be a bad copy to the hdd from wiiflow?

I timed it this time and it only took about 3 mins and 45 secs for it to come up with the disc read error ... note there is no disc ... I also removed it from the hdd and readded it ...

Got me stumped there! The only thing i would try is a different loader or version.
