Help! External USB HDD not recognized by Loaders!

Hey guys I've been up all night working on this and can't seem to get a solution. My HDD (WD MyBook Essential 1TB from the compatability list) is not being recognized by USB Loader GX, NeoGamma, or Configurable USB Loader. It is plugged into the correct USB port (outside).

My system is 4.2u and i've installed cIOS 38 rev 19, hermes, dopmii for ios36.

I partitioned the drive with a 200gb primary and active WBFS partition and the rest as ntfs.

I can see the drive in wiixplorer but only the ntfs partition.

Also I can run older versions of usb loader gx without the drive plugged in but that doesn't do me much good as it simply shows system memory.

Please help me out if you can this is seriously ruining my weekend.

Here is a Syscheck if it helps.

When i run newer versions of USB Loader GX i get the command lines of init wbfs...-100 "You have issues with slow disc, or difficult disc"

Then it brings up the "Waiting for your slow usb device" loading screen and times out after 30 seconds.

When i run older versions with the hdd plugged in it brings me to the usb loader menu but all it shows is the clock and the wiimote desynchs.

I've also tried plugging in a random 1gb flash drive that I had and I still get the same "Waiting for your slow USB device" loading screen with usb loader gx.

This is probably a dumb solution, but you need to put it on the USB drive on the left
    (the side with the buttons)
    .
