    My usb loader isnt loading

I softmoded my v 4.2E wii using shadowsonic's guide and everything was working fine; i was able to play games from my hard drive through usb loader gx. Then I downloaded monster hunter tri and it didnt work.
So I went to download and install Hermes cIOS v5 using stomp_442's guide and it still didnt work. I then changed the IOS250 in cios installer and installed ios222 and 223. Then couldn't get in usbloader. So I installed ios 202, 222, 223, 224 back with IOS249 and i still couldnt get on usbloader. So what's wrong and how do I get rid of hermes v5?

Also, does wiiconnect24 do anything to the softmoding? Because sometimes I leave it on.

Try installing Configurable USB Loader. Works for me.
Also, did you try installing Hermes V4 versions of IOS202 223
    and Hermes V5 of IOS224?

wiconnect24 should not have any effect on softmodding. Just don't update your Wii on-line.

I have mine turned off all the time useless piece of ............

Plus its better for your wii as well as when you power down, it fully powers down and doesnt just go into stand by.
