    Confirm Correct 4.2 Setup

    Greetings

On Sunday, I purchased a Wii, Seagate 1TB USB expansion drive and a SanDisk SD 2gb memory card. I ended up doing ShadowSonic's mod twice because I missed a few things the first time through. Went through the mod with no issues with the exception not doing bootmii becuase I didn't have a game controller. Formatted and partitioned the drive to FAT32 and used WBFS to transfer 3 games to the drive. The games were Just Dance PAL, Alvin 2 and Rig Racer 2. I understand that Just Dance does have some issues. The other games were downloaded from reliable sources. I've tried to play all games with USB loader and once I access the files, I get the black screen. Any advice would be appreciated as I spent the better part of this weekend trying to get this to work.

A black screen can be caused by a missing IOS. There is a list somewehere here of IOS's that games require.

    Here it is http://www.wiihacks.com/blogs/tealc/...s-use-run.html
But do a sys check to see what you have installed first

Just checked the drive and it's partitioned to NTFS and active, the other part is unformatted and is not set to primary. How do I run the Sys Check?

are the games showing up? You really want wbfs format.

D/L sys check in my sig
Put sys check folder in apps folder on sd card
    run through hb
it will save a csv file on the root of the sd, open that in word on pc and copy and paste contents here

Have you followed this guide for setting up hdd http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...s-usb-hdd.html

Games are showing up in the USB loader. Once I click on them, the screen goes black. How long does the Syscheck take to run? It's been stuck on Testing IOS Vulnerabilities for about 10 minutes.

Doesn't show any specific IOS, just has a green progress bar and locks up.
