I messed up my wii?

Hi! i have only owned a wii for like 4 months and havent tried to hack it till now. So im really a noob. But anyhow, i thought i could try to hack it to run homebrew and stuff.

I have version 4.2E. I managed to install homebrew channel with bannerbomb. I could run homebrews and stuff just fine. But now i wanted to be able to run backup gamecube games as well.

I still dont really know if it is possible on my version. But i think so after looking through a few guides. But anyhow after a while i decided to downgrade my wii to 3.2 because i found tutorials for it and it seems to so many problems with 4.2?

Very well, after running this: FAILTUBE VIDEO LINK REMOVED - NS tutorial i somehow messed up my wii. Im not REALLY sure of what i have done so its maybe not so easy for you to help me. But i THINK it messed up after i did something with the IOS and i think its IOS36 that is the problem. But im not sure.

Anyhow my wii wont run homebrews anymore. When im starting a homebrew through homebrew channel im just getting a black screen. I think this happened after i ran the homebrew "IOS Downgrader". After i ran it i have just got black screen in homebrews. Anyhow i managed to boot up homebrews anyway with the Bannerbomb. But it only boots some homebrews and i dont know why.

I went to system settings and formatted my system and thought maybe that would restore all IOS and stuff? unfortunatly it didnt. i just lost my homebrew channel and everything else. Couldnt use it anyway. But i can't install it again either. The bannerbomb program won't load the homebrew channel installer program. Im just getting a black screen.

Wii sports still runs fine (the only game i have). But does this mean my wii somehow is bricked or something? Do you guys know any homebrew that my wii hopefully would run that could restore all IOS to original automaticly? Because that is just what i wanna do. I just want EVERYTHING to be normal. I mean it should be possible to make a homebrew that just restores every IOS shouldnt it?

please help me out if you can!

Allright, to start with some good news: your wii hasn't been bricked. You mentioned that bannerbomb does not work. I would like you to back-up any files on your SD, format it and place the Bannerbomb and thehackmii installer on it again and run it. If it still doesn't work, please post a text file which contains a list of all the files you have on your SD card (and in which folder they are).

After we get the Homebrew channel fixed, we will run a syscheck to see what you did to your wii.

it didnt work though. i got the black screen when trying to load the bannerbomb :(

What system menu are you on now? After that follow one of the softmodding guides in my sig depending on your system menu.

Also, following youtube videos always end in fail... kinda like this

Hey i've managed to run trucha bug restorer with bannerbomb if that could be any help? but i dont know what i should do with it :(

If ios36 is patched, that will prevent bannerbomb from running correctly. If you've tried to use the 4.2 guide in my sig and it fails, please post what happens when it fails. I know you said you get a black screen, but was that running the guide below?

umm.. what guide do you mean? :O
i got this problem after running the youtube guide i posted if thats what you meant?
and when i run bannerbomb i simply get a black screen with some homebrews including the homebrew channel installer.

I'm most be the only one to have survived a youtube tutorial. Of course, that was before I even found this awesome community.
