    correct.
I will give it a go again tonight and see if syscheck will run
in the instructions for syscheck it says to rename either syscheck.dol and .elf or sysCheck-Skip202.dol and .elf to boot.dol and .elf
is there a specific one I should choose or should either run fine?

Download the syscheck in my sig, put the folder in apps, no need to change anything

Ok I finally got things working. But maybe you can look over my syscheck report and see if anything is odd.
I ended up redoing steps 3-6 for step 3 once I put the wads in the wad folder and not at the root level it was ok and didn't get the error that the wad was missing.
in step 4 I went to each of the ioses it said to stub and saw they were already stubbed, so I just moved on
I then did step 5-6 and had no problems

After I ran the syscheck in the dop-mii and it hung
I then used your syscheck and it worked!
I also installed ios55-64-v5149 (because I read a post on here that was needed to get excitebike to work) and then it worked.
I also installed Sonic and Mario world wad's to test and they installed and played correct.
I have not tried usbloadergx yet, but will do that soon.

Here is the syscheck report. Do you notice anything odd, or are there any other ioses that Ishould install?

you could do with updaing ios 55 to r5406

This is from my sys check and all up to date
    "57 (v5661)",Disabled,Disabled,Disabled,Disabled
    "56 (v5405)",Disabled,Disabled,Disabled,Disabled
    "55 (v5406)",Disabled,Disabled,Disabled,Disabled
    "53 (v5406)",Disabled,Disabled,Disabled,Disabled

Plus you could install hermes as razor says , in my sig

    from messies guide

D5) You can now install ios202, ios222, ios223. From HBC, run cios222 installer and select ios249 to use. At the next screen, choose the following, one at each turn:
-ios202, for usb - using ios38 (needed for USB2.0 support at Media Players)
-ios222, for uloader - using ios38 (needed for USB support of instruments and stuff)
-ios223 mainly for GH5 - using ios38 merged with 37 (same as above)
Mind that you will need an internet connection for this!! If you do not have an internet connection, see appendix

You can use this tutorial to get the latest ios http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...ownloader.html

Ok, I downloaded and will install once I get home!

    One other question:
When I install wad's using wadmanager I normally just leave it on 249 as the ios and disable emulation. Is this the best way to install wads?
