Okay to preface the question i did poke around a bit to see if i could find the answer but to tell the truth i am new to the wii modding scene and im not sure what it is imlooking for. So here goes, maybe you guys can point me in the right direction, sorry if this has already been posted.
Question: I softmodded my wii using the steps found on we hack wii and it works wonderful, i have usb loader gx and play as many games as i want from my backups but just today (after a week of the system being softmodded) i can no longer play my Mario Kart, its requiring a system update which warns of unathorized mods being removed and also a threat issued by nintendo of a possible system brick.
How do i know what i need to update and how do i do it? i know i will probably need to update through DOP-Mii but how do i know what it is that is suddenly preventing me from playing a commercial game on my wii?
Additional:
- Have only tested Mario Kart, will test others and post results
- No changes made since the softmod
- Have played said game several times since softmod (online as well)
- I do have 4.2u system but hasent seemed to pose problem so far, till now.
