    Playing DvD iso backups??

    Can the wii play iso back ups of my dvds?

    Not without modding it first.

    Before you ask search and if you do mod then use the Guides before wasting your own time asking such questions.
    Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

    Tealc you got in there first -


    Games - you just burn them to dvd -r,. The newer wii wont play them as they have a d3-2 chip in them

    But as Tealc says modding is the essential

    Sorry for the lack of info... My wii is softmodded 4.2 and I have gotten the dvd iso to load but i cant navigate the menu in mplayer ce of geebox? what do i need to achieve menu control so i can start the movie?

    There you see what happens when you don't describe your problem properly.

    When you say DVD ISOs we naturally assume game ISOs and not bloody DVD Videos as you wanted.

    As for that, well I never got it working.
    Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.
