Exclamation Triforce showmewad problem can't extract wad to nand backup

I followed the guide VERY carefully.... twice.. It works perfect for me, open up my wads folder, pick game, extract to nand. switch back to nand view and it has not added the new title to the list. Tried 4 different wads to be sure the problem wasn't the wad. Just for the hell of it i copied the nand folders to the usb driveand loaded triforce just to make sure that i had a good nand folder. It did load and showed me the titles that where installed PRIOR to the initial NAND dump but as suspected none of the games i attempted to extract to the NAND copied over.

    Thanks for your help.

Yes sir. Per my post the showmenand side of the app opens my nand backup and shows me the list of files installed in the nand backup. The problem is when i right click on a wad hit extract to nand it simply doesn't do it.

Please review the guide, we are discussing the part where you have the nand folders on your pc after taking your nand dump and extracting a key.bin and making your nand folders. Again i have already set my path and i can see the contents of my nand in showmenand. that means showmewads can see my nand folders.

This is quoted from the triforce guide.

    "Step 4. Installing Games

Next, we need to convert games into a format usable by the emulated NAND. For this, we will use the program ShowMiiWads.

    1. In ShowMiiWads, go to the Options menu and select Change NAND Backup Path.

    2. Navigate to where the nand folder (from step 1-5) is located, select it and press OK.

    3. Go to the View menu and then select ShowMiiNand. You should see a long list of everything that is in the nand backup listed. I recommend not messing with any of these files!

    4. Go to the tools menu then select Create common.key. (only needs to be done once)

    5. Click on the View menu and select ShowMiiWads. (To get back to the nand view, go to the view menu and select ShowMiiNand.)

    6. Click on the File menu and select Open Folder.

    7. Navigate to where you have your wad files located and press OK. You may have to wait a bit for the program to load up the list of wads if you have a lot.

    8. Select the game you want to install in the list, right click on it and select Extract then To NAND. Now if you go to the ShowMiiNand view, you will see the game listed at the bottom of the list.

Note: You can right click on a game and select Delete to remove it.

    9. Finally, copy the contents of the nand folder created in the step above and paste them on the root of your sd card or USB device. ***If the nand files are anywhere else, triiforce will not load.

Step 8 is where things go wrong. I can even continue on with the guide and load my old games from the nand folders created but showmewads will not exract my wads to the nand folders.

I even tried the new version of showmewads to see if that fixed the problem.

Try another computer? Start from Scratch? Delete the cfg file in showmiiwads folder and redo? redump nand or start from original nand again? What have you done as far as troubleshooting are have just stopped when you stumbled on this issue? I have one computer that showmiiwads and wii backup manager just won't run on so I used another computer.... these are some suggestions you can try since you already know the program works so it's isolated to some configuration on your computer.

can't, i only have one pc and i don't want to even tackle getting this working on my macs till i figure it out in windows.
    Start from Scratch?
    First thing i did. :-(
Delete the cfg file in showmiiwads folder and redo?
Deleted ENTIRE showmewads folder and installed newer version, then deleted that and went back to version recommended in the guide.
redump nand or start from original nand again?
Did this already. I am using BootMii to dump my nand if that makes a difference
What have you done as far as troubleshooting are have just stopped when you stumbled on this issue?
Installed multiple versions of showmewads, redumped, ripped keys and decrypted nand. etc. banged skull against monitor till dizzy, etc.

    Don't tell me these things...

Question. As a potential workaround could i copy the wad to a wad directory in my sd or usb drive then use wad manager to install the wad to the emulated nand? if so please explain. I'm thinking i would just choose nand emulation when i start up wad manager but being an ubernube wad manager gives me night terrors.

    Thanks again for your help.
