Ithian did a great thread on removing cIOSCORP.

What I would suggest is give it a try. Loads of CORP users have homebrew and it works. Just be aware that fiddling with any IOS that cIOSCORP installs will invalidate your CORP install and potentially give you loading issues.
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

What version of ciosCORP is installed? I recommend upgrading to DARKCORP v1.0 (ciosCORP v4.0). If an uninstall was completed prior to v3.6, then you can simply use the "install and update normal" through the installer. DARKCORP removes a lot of the useless Korean IOS's and corrects issues with dual layer games. You can shoot an email to darkcorp@thewebpost.net for the full installation package. Be sure to go over the Readme file. If you couldn't tell by my sig, I'm a user of the corp - definitely hasn't given me any problems

    -Wii Menu 4.2U / DARKCORP v1.1 / BootMii as boot2 / Preloader v0.30-
    -USB HDD / Wiiflow 2.0 / Triiforce / VC Image-Pack / cIOS Wads-
