    b)Allows installation of priiloader, which is the only brick protection you can get if you don't have Bootmii/boot2.
    I priiloader better than bootmii? If not I'd rather go with bootmii....

    if you can use bootmii. Newer wii's can't install bootmii to boot2. If this is the case your only option is priloader.

    Priiloader is still handy to have if you are a not familiar with everything going on with the Wii and can be used to block updates, both online and disc based so is worth installing.
    Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

    Right, I forgot the update blocking feature. Very important if you want to avoid an update repair. You might as well install both if you can then, OP.
