OP: so does this mean you accepted those disc updates from the "Recommended We Screw You" instructions as provided by Netflix? I recall Teal'C had said in another thread about some of these updates being a no-no...
When I ran the netflix disc, it never asked me about updating anything, just had to connect and enter my code number.

Betcha figured out more than that happened now though, huh? IDK the specifics, but you can see the symptomology.

So, here is the latest. I installed the Hermes IOS v4 and ran 2 different games via usb loader using 222, 223, and 249. With the latest version of usb loader gx, when I try to load a game, I get a black screen and the wii hangs up. With an eirlier version of usb loader gx, when trying to load a game, I either get a black screen and then the wii resets, or I get an error code of "Exception (DSI) Occurred" followed by a bunch of code. Would doing a bootmii get the wii back to a state before the netflix install? Then I could start from scratch in hopes of getting the wii to play my usb games.

This is wrong. I had the netflix disc too and it has nothing to do with the disc or it's instructions. We can treat it as an online game, as you normally have to put in the disc every time to stream online data(movies). It doesn't install any updates(at least not on 4.2u).

However, if USB loading doesn't work the solution is beyond me. But at least I can admit that without pretending I know what I'm talking about. No offense. I know you guys work hard. I appreciate it.

Don't forget to thank me if I helped you out!
