    Wii crash during SD loading...

Search turned up nothing so new thread it is.

Whenever I try to load wads from my SD my Wii crashes, I am on 4.1e and I am also fairly sure all my cIOS are up to date as I just ran PimpMyWii yesterday and it automatically updates the cIOS. I have looked around and I am aware of a patched cIOS 60 thats supposedly meant to resolve this issue but upon installing the patched Cios 60 wad nothing changes. Pointers ? what am I missing ?

Pimpmywii can be a little tricky, and I'm never one to trust an app that does everything automatically. Also everything under 200 = IOS, above 200 = cIOS installed as IOS.

    Run CB2_BB_SysCheck_1.6.1.zip

Post the report it creates back up here and we'll take a look see.

I see you're running cIOSXrev19. If you installed it with a base other than 38 then Wad Manager will not work. Load WM and select IOS222 when loading to confirm this.

If that's the case and you want to use Wad Manager with 249/250 you'll need to install rev19 with base38 or install rev17.

been trying to make heads or tails out of this all day and I seem to be having no luck. wad manager works fine, games run fine off the usb loader, the problem is whenever I attempt to load the SD card from the Wii menu my system crashes. where would I find these rev's ? search doesn't bring up anything specific aside from darkcorps.

From the Wii menu eh? On the SD navigate to sd:\private\wii\titles\atkn

Remove that atkn folder and try loading your SD card again.

That did it, been trying to run wads from the SD for ages! saves space as the internal memory on the Wii is a farce. Thanks a lot.
