Use 2 USB Drives with Wii

I have 2 USB drives, one with all the Wii Games and another that has all my movies, pictures etc. I have been able to connect them and use them separately with the wii i.e. USB loader for Games and MPlayer CE for movies. The reason I have to use them individually is because the Wii seems to detect the USB drives from 1 USB ports only.

Has anyone been able to use both USB ports and have 2 USB drives connected to the Wii?

    Please help!

If you keep the WBFS HDD in the outer most usb port and put the HDD with your movies in the inner port and use Geexbox to play your movies you should be able to play your movies from that port

Right, and even that requires Hermes IOS 222 in addition to Wani's IOS 249.

Things must have changed because a couple of months ago I had geexbox on using my HDD in the outer port (my HDD had 2 partitions WBFS and FAT32)and I plugged my GF MP3 player into the inner port to see if it would charge it and it did but not only did it charge the MP3 I could navigate the contents and play the music using Geexbox

Well thanks so much and those who thought it doesn't work might be glad to know that 2 USB drives do work with GeeXbox.

"If you keep the WBFS HDD in the outer most usb port and put the HDD with your movies in the inner port and use Geexbox to play your movies you should be able to play your movies from that port"

    This works!

I will also report that the GeeXbox app will read from a HDD or flash drive containing music/photos/video that is plugged into the second usb port of the Wii.
