    Emulation Classic controller not working

On the SNES, Genesis, NES, and VGBA, the classic controller isn't working on them... at all. Whether I plug it in before I start the emulator, or after I do, or after the ROM is loaded, the controller just wont respond. It is a Nintendo brand black classic controller. I also noticed that when it is connected, sometimes the Wii remote pointer on the emulator menus gets incredibly laggy... but if I use this controller in a Wii game, such as SSBBrawl, it works just fine...
There was a new logged selection of updates on the consoles for April 9, so I'll update them and see if they work tonight when I get off work at 5PM... but I don't know. Does anyone else have these problems, or know of a solution?

Some extra info... the Wii remotes controls work, but haven't tested the gamecube ones... although now that I think about it, I think a GC controller was plugged in at the time.
I am also unsure of whether I have IOS202 installed... would that have anything to do with it? The ROMs work however... just fine. I load them from forwarding channels on the Wii menu, from a USB 2.0 Western Digital 320GB My Passport Essentials hard drive.

    Alright guys, let's here it!

EDIT: I moved this to another area, inside of the general homebrew and hacks issues area. Please go there for posts

I posted it into a new area because the last time I posted a question in the Newb area, I got people telling me to spray paint my Wii black. It's not really reliable here at all.
I want a more refined answer that isn't just a suggestion that hardly applies to my question.

So maybe do that in the first place instead of posting it in two diff sections. Thats not looked upon well here.

    Just a thought.

    cheers

You need to pick a place to post your question, not cross post across other sections of the forum. If you want it moved, you can ask a moderator to do this by posting the request in the thread you have. All you are doing is creating clutter and chaos.
I'm closing this and asking you nicely to stop with this behavior.

That logic doesn't hold up at all. Yes a couple of ppl suggested this including myself, but there were alot of serious suggestions there as well reguarding case modding by many members and moderators as well. A statement like that would indicate that you have not only taken for granted the advice given to the other members, but have a lack of respect for ppl trying to help. I hope this is not the case.
