Some people, like me, may use the portable gaming screen regularly... in which case, the skin would have to be removed every time you want to use it.

Personally, I dont like the look of plastic paint after a while... starts looking cheap. So I would definitely go with new case.

Finally! Someone mentioned the gaming screen! Is that the Intec one? is there any problem with yours? Like... does the sensorbar work really well, is the screen generally large enough for play? And do you know anywhere that sells them for less than the 100-130 they are going for? I really want one.

Yes this is the intec 7 inch portable gaming screen with built in sensor bar and two headphone jacks. I have, so far, had absolutely NO problems with this screen... in fact I love it! The built in sensor bar is made smaller than the original so that you can move your wiimote closer to the screen allowing gaming on your lap; in the car (comes with a back seat harness), and I havent had a problem with the sensor bar yet (Ive had this for over a year).

I, personally, dont think the screen is too small... it seems extremely small, but your sitting alot closer to it so it is generally decent size for gameplay... all the games seem to be good to play on the portable, Ive even played Call of Duty on it a few times... not one of the better games to play on the portable but its playable.

The screen ratio is 16:9 with the basic display settings. Not the best quality, but good enough for me.

The feature I love best about the portable is the fact that you only need the power cable your wii usually runs off of to run it. No additional cables. It also comes with a power cable for the car.

Finally, the price I paid... $$$... only 60 bucks retail price at Future Shop one year ago. I live in Ontario, Canada.

Id give this thing a solid 4.5 out of 5 stars, and for sixty dollars Canadian... not bad, no?

That seems like an amazing screen. I'm watching one right now on ebay at a bid for 30 dollars...but I'm looking around, since it probably wont stay at 30.

So I've finally got my Black Knight case installed, and I'm loving the new look. Sure, I went from boring white to a now relatively boring black - but hey, at least it looks more "elegant". Actually went off the tutorial I submitted, but I guess it won't be getting an approval (oh well).

@ fallen666shadow, as far as difficulty goes; actually opening up the Wii and replacing the case is pretty easy and safe. If you have experience opening up PC's and electronics in general, the Wii isn't much of a threat. Let me tell you now, there's a BUNCH of screws (probably in the 40 range), that's only thing you should worry about. As for cables go, you'll be required to to unplug a couple (the fan and face plate power sources) but those aren't too difficult; just be gentle. In all, took me about a hour going off the tutorial I used. It was well worth it!
