uLoader 4.XXX and NAND Emulation Question
Hey Wiihacks. I am on a 4.2U D3-2 drive Wii and use uLoader to play my backups. The other day, I downloaded and installed the newest version 4.9C from this website:
HOWTO: Install/Upgrade uLoader to version 4.9C for DVD & USB backup launching. (Offline and online methods)
After doing so, I also noticed another posting by Adewii that talked about how one of uLoaders newest features was the ability to play Wiiware/VC titles through uLoader via NAND emulation:
HOWTO: Play WiiWare & VC games via uLoader
I also noticed that triforce has NAND emulation as well, and from the looks of it, it works pretty much the same way as uLoader's NAND emulation.
Here is my question for you guys: I know that you are emulating your NAND from an SD card and not touching the Wii's own internal NAND. I noticed on GBATemp however that some games still produce system errors and stack dumps and require to reboot the Wii via their "matrix compatibility table":
ULoader 4.X VC/WiiWare emulation compatibility - WikiTemp
I was wondering if it is still possible in any way to brick your Wii by using and playing VC/Wiiware games off an emulated NAND via SD card? Has anyone used uLoader (or Triforce too) and actually encountered these types of errors when using an emulated NAND? I just don't want to mess up and possibly brick my Wii and want to know for certain that it won't brick if I were ever to get a stack dump or system error message by doing this...
