Question about Scrubbing, and a couple others...

If I rip a game I own to a USB drive, is it recommended to scrub it? If so what is the best program (and are those program(s) user friendly). I was ok with the file sizes, until I hit MP Trilogy which was almost 8 gigs, I don't have THAT much room, I plan on purchasing a WD Elements 1TB, but I was going to wait a few weeks/make sure I could and knew how to do everything before I shelled out the cash. Also what is the average size of games scrubbed and unscrubbed? I have a lot and after playing a few of them via USB the load times are so much better I don't want to go back. I just want to do a few calculations before I purchase, I may bump up to 1.5TB if games are generally very large.

Also, if I rip a game, can I then store it on my computer for 1) When I get a bigger HDD and 2) for backup incase something happens to the HDD I use for Wii.

When you put games on USB HDD they are automatically scrubbed. For exemple NSMB is only 0.35 GB!
Best program is WBFS Manager but it uses 3.5 NF.You can also dump games directly from DVD to USB using USB loader with that function.

Oh alright, I guess MP Trilogy is just a lot of data, yeah I acutally JUST did NSMB wii, go figure, I was shocked. I am using WBFS Mananger. Does that program (havn't messed around with it much besided formatting the drive) allow you to transfer files from the USB to another HDD for safekeeping?

if you are using wbfs manager to put the iso on your hdd it would do the scrubbing for you make sure in wbfs manager go edit/options/advanced options and select only game partition.....depends 4.3 gb is standard wii iso size...for example NSMB is 4.3gb after its scrubbed it comes to 350mb

How in the world are you gona fill 1 tb hdd with wii games unless you are a pirate...

I was assuming most games were like MP Trilogy is all, I stand corrected. In fact I think this 300GB will be plenty for everything I own.
