    Unhappy HELP! with wbfs manager

Hello I'm trying to put some games on my portable hard drive to play on my wii and I'm useing wbfs manager and the iso files take crazy ammounts of time such as a couple hours to days. I'm pretty sure this isnt normal but I don't know If anybody has any Ideas on why this is doing what it is please tell me I'm very egar to start playing some games.

P.S it also might be because I cant get a 4gb temporary folder, to be honest I dont know how to make one Ive created many empty folders as I have over 200gb free.

Thank you for reading If anyone can help I beg of you Ive messed around with this for 7 hours now.

Is it formatted correctly??? Sounds like a FAT32 f you can't make 4GB space.

well, pretty sure I have net framework 3.5 but ill check and I formatted it by plugging it in my wii and usb loader did it. that may be the problem, and another thing is where is this 4gb folder supposed to be because when I try to make it on the hd I get a fatal error and when on my computer everything isnt big enough so Im absolutely clueless what to do at this point.

It could be an issue with WBFS formating.Go to WBFS Manager, load ur HDD and click Format.

I don't use an external HD so I couldn't tell you but what I can tell you is that when you try to put a 4GB file on a drive and it fails and gives you errors that is purely indicative of the drive being formatted as FAT32. FAT32 has a 4GB limitation. I would suggest finding a WBFS Manager guide and starting from scratch. I'm sure there a zillion places on this board that walk you step by step how to play games off of your HD.

Also, maybe you did format in WBFS and maybe you created 2 partitions and trying to put files on the FAT32 partition. Who knows.... but reformat as the above poster suggested.

okay so it turns out I do have net framework 3.5, And wadder Ive done that many times its just whenever I browse and choose an Iso to put on it is really slow I'm useing WIN RAR if that has anything to do with it.and I'm useing a 250gb seagate. And amps I think it is already wbts because wbfs loader wouldnt load it if it wasnt and in disk management it shows only one partition.

Did you UNRAR the files or are you attempting to put the RAR on the Hard Drive?

Possibly it has to unrar the file onto your computer first in a temp forlder then move it to the WBFS drive. Unrar the file on your computer first then move it.
