You won't be able to install wad files or a cIOS until you fakesign ios36

Basically The Steps Required Are :-

    1. Install HomeBrew Channel (HBC) & BootMii using BannerBomb & HackMii Installer
    2. Create Fakesigned IOS (IOS36) Required to run homebrew applications
    3. Remove STUB IOS'S (Fake IOSís Put there by 4.2 System Update to prevent homebrew) - Only on 4.2
    4. Install cIOS 249 R17 from the Homebrew Channel (Required to run certain Homebrew)
    5. Install cIOS 222/223 Installer from the Homebrew Channel (Required to run certain Homebrew)
    6. Update System Menu if required
    7. Patch System IOS (IOS70 on 4.2, IOS60 on 4.1 & 4.0)
    8. Install Priiloader from the Homebrew Channel (Prevent Bricks)
    9. Install USB Loader, Backup Disk Launcher & Media Player (Or as Required)

How you get there depends on what guide your using - I think your stuck at 2?

    Regards

use bannerbomb to run dop-ios mod and then install a fakesigned 36 is probably the simplest way.

Just replace the .dol file that comes with bannerbomb with the dop-ios .dol file from the softmod guide.

What error do you get with hackmii installer?

im not a great fan of brickpimpmywii.

You should try hackmii again now that you have a fakesigned ios (Although it shouldnt have caused a problem with that anyway).

You should also try running the cios installer from wadmanager.

    Thanks again Davepm.

I have already read the linked thread. There are many suggestions but the problem was not resolved.

I think mine too will not be resolved.

Note : I said above that I have installed IOS36 but I did not see there was an error at the end of installation. IOS36 failed too.

Don't bump the thread after only a couple of hours unless you want it to get closed.
