    cannot install custom ios errors

    I have an LU53 running 4.1u.
I started the hack and had couple of the wad files out of about 10 fail to load.
    Moving on, I installed HBC.
BootMii I installed as ios then as boot2 and uninstalled the ios I was unclear which was the best way.
The trouble began when I tried to install cioscorp 3.3 I got an error msg about needing some rev v07.
After researching that awhile I gave up and tried trucha restorer but I got the "Could not set revision to 0" error. I gathered all the proper ios rev wad files through NUSD downloader (ios15's and ios36/37), this did not help.
Anytime I try to install any Custom ios I get 2011, 1037 etc. errors, cannot install custom ios.
I spent 12hrs already trying to figure this out and keep hiting wall after wall.
what am I doing wrong here??
I really want to play back'd up games.
This is the tutorial that I used.

    Thanks for any help

Why wouldn't you install the latest version of cIOScorp, 3.6 I think. READ THIS

Hopefully you made a NAND backup after installing BootMii, you may need it since messing around with cIOScorp.

Some very outdated concepts on that tutorial. Does anyone seriously install IOS16 these days?

Anyway I couldn't be bothered to watch the Youtube fail video any longer.

    Do step 3 of this...http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...d-any-wii.html
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

    Thanks for the input.
I tried it and still get the error "cannot set revision to 0"
Any way you can think of to get around that?
    Thanks again,
    Dave

    **update**
I swapped out the old tbr 1.0 for 1.1 and updated by nus and it worked!!!
I completed the instructions after that and finished the softmod.
    Thanks Tealc.

Download Dop-Mii_v12_CB2_BB2.zip, extract the apps folder to your sd-card
    Load HBC and launch Dop-Mii
First select the second option to install an ios to install other ios with, ios36 with fakesign, trucha bug restore
Then select ios36 in the first option
    Remove/delete stubbed ios files
Scan the wii and post the cvs report from your sd-card here

Download CB2_BB2_Cios38-r17-installer.zip, Extract the app folder and ios38 to your sd-card
    Load HBC, launch Cios installer
Use ios36, install from network or wad

I will throw some more advise your way when you post back with the cvs report.
