    How to run WiiWare from USB HDD

    Well the title kinda says it all

    i followed the 3.1 - 4.1 wii softmod tutorial, then the how to run games off HDD one, and now im wondering if its possible to run wiiware normally like the other ISOs.

    by that i mean that i would have them stored on my HDD on the same partition as the ISOs and that i could run them with my USB loader GX - just like any other game.

    if this is allready explained somewhere (i really did try searching! just didnt find anything >_<) please point me in the right direction, otherwise some step-by-step guide would be awesum! that is, if running WiiWare as i described above is even possible.

    WiiWare are wad files that have to installed into NAND. There are 2 ways, 1 install them in the NAND or 2, install them in an emulate NAND located on USB drive. First one is easy install with Wad Manager. For the second, here is a link.

    I'm trying to figure out the same exact thing man, i downloaded megaman 10 and tried gettting it onto my usb hd through wbfs manager 3.0 and it didnt work. I think that people play wiiware from there SD card and requires ios60 patch to work, but my source is hopefuly wrong , i bet there is a way and i'd like to know also.

    Can Usbloadergx load wiiware or is it only triiforce for wiiware

    @amps: thank you for the link, will do something like that if i dont find a better solution.

    @bbbdan: better solution beeing ofc exactly as you asked, and i asked before: running both, game backups and WiiWare from same program. call me perfectionist but i find it unpractical and clumsy if i had to have my games divided in two groups and ran with different programs. ;/

    so yeah - anyone figured out a way to run both with one program?

    Wondering the same thing today. Tired of putting wad files on my sd card. Want them on my usb.

    It's the same as I posted yesterday. You have to use triiforce.

    amps is right, you still need to get triiforce working before the ISO forwarders will work.

    ISO forwarders? explain abit more plz? so i get triiforce, then i can run my Wiiware with same software as i run my ISOs with? *confuzzled*
