Go back into wii menu and make sure your country settings are correct for your region first, Pal I am assuming. If your MK game is pal you will need a pal gamesave, if it is ntsc Pal forced you will need an ntsc gamesave.

Won't work unless u have priiloader installed so u can remove the copy block or u use a save made from Savegame Manager.

Bumping because this also happens to me. I have a PAL iso and my wii is set to Australia, but when I try to play it, it gives this message. My emulator says the default country of the iso is Switzerland.

The thread starter's problem is because he tried a save from a different country than his/her Wii. To avoid this entirely, always get games in the same region as the console. Otherwise this happens. But even if it was the same region MKW saves can't be transferred w/o the mentioned methods.

I'm well aware of all that, and just to make sure, I ripped an iso from my very own game disk and extracted the saves from my very own wii. I don't see how there can be conflicting country settings.

If you're extracting them from your own Wii, that means they are already there to begin with... Why would u be having a problem if the save was already there? The problem was a downloaded save.

I have an unmodded PAL version (force ntsc on usb settings), and a modded ntsc version. I have game saves for both versions. (both are running from HDD)
