I was trying to load to save onto a different wii. I don't see that it matters if it was downloaded or not, they both give the same error

But of course. So do I. But the game still has to be forced.

Now that I look at the quoted post what I meant was "tried a save from a different format than his/her game."

If the game is PAL version you need a Pal game save regardless, if it is ntsc pal forced you need a ntsc game save. If you have the correct version the file itself may be corrupt, or not formatted correctly. Try another game save file. You also have to copy your original to your sd and delete it from Wii system memory. Open the save file on your sd,remove the data.bin, replace that with the new data.bin, run to your Wii and replace that file to system memory.

Wifi games are restricted from copying as the files themselves are linked to the Wii they are created on. In guessing this would be because of the difference in IP or MAC addresses. (Could someone verify this?) Also it was intended to be a cheater diversion tactic. (EPIC FAIL...)

With the links in my first post u can either install a utility (Priiloader/Preloader) to remove the blocking of copying said save or dump it in a different/raw format (Save Manager) to transfer it. Be warned though, with the latter the wi-fi info/account will be completely erased meaning u will have to start fresh on the wi-fi account. However, All the other unlocks as far as regular gameplay will remain intact.

If someone would be so kind as to inform these users on if Priiloader does anything to the online aspects of the save as I have yet to use the Priiloader on my Wii to transfer saves other than my own.

I missed the wifi part. I was basing my recommendations on my experiences, but I haven't played online. Have you tried priiloder as recommended?^^

If u are asking about if I have it installed? Yes.

Have I transferred a save before with the block on? Yes.

Have I transferred a save not from my own Wii (i.e. downloaded)? Not yet but I'll get around to it. Maybe later this week I'll try it out.

I was asking if the original poster(hoaxer) has tried your recommendation with priiloader. I have no problems with MK(full game save) and this>http://www.wiihacks.com/customizatio...kup-discs.html Check it out if you get a chance. It is a lot of fun!

    Ah...

Yeah I recently found out about that but from what I've heard Nintendo's been banning online users that use these customs in online matches. There's a work around it but I kinda like playing online. (more like I REALLY like playing online)

I'm waiting to see if Nintendo starts to ban all the users even in rooms that they are hosting ( ←how users have been working around the ban) entirely before I start to customize.

I have raced on some customs before online and I definitely like the idea. But I feel I'm gonna be way less active in MKW when Modnation Racers comes out so I never dove into course design which Modnation has built in already.

Over on GameFAQs they used to do it regularly until the bans started stockpiling. I didn't know we had a thread on it though. Thanx 4 the link...
