    Neogamma help please?

Hello, I have modded my second Wii to date and am having some issues with the second Wii.

I have just installed Neogamma R8 and the forwarder but when I run the app, I got an error that it is unable to locate the boot.dol file in the /apps folder. I search all the different folders and I can't find this file. I also search the forum and I'm probably just a bad searcher but couldn't find anything about this.

Can anyone offer some advice please?

Well the forwarder is nothing but a pointer to your SD card; did you even download NeoGamma as a boot.dol (which normally w/o the forwarder, is launched via HBC)? If not, maybe time to try that pesky search thing we're always talkin' about.

That pesky search thing lead me to the original download with had both the installer and forwarder. I have tried reinstalling both to no success. What I have is Neogamma - NGRX.wad and forwarder file. I search for "neogamma boot.dol" and those are the files I kept finding.

A .wad is a channel install (as opposed to HBC/forwarder option). Let me ask the obvious question: why not simply opt for channel install for ease of use (install it/forget about it)?

See this hack was a lot different then the one for my system, which went smooth and did a channel install, but I was under the impression thats what I was doing with these files. I tried the channel and it didn't install anywhere I could find so I used the forwarder but now I get that message :/ So pardon my amateur attempt I'm just at a lose at what i am doing wrong.

Try the channel install here for Neo Gamma R8 RC3. You install it via wad manager, give it a try and post back your results.
