    i would not recommend using your wii to do the dumping unless you want to burn your laser out.
    the best way is to buy one of the following dvd drives for your p.c i got mine from ebay, cost me 20
    * LG-8164b
    * LG-8163b
    * LG-8162b
    * LG-8161b
    then you can do the dump from your p.c, these drives can read wii orig games as well as backups.
    if i helped you out just click the thanks button

    Ripping with your Wii dosn't strain the drive laser all that much and it only takes a few minutes while using one of those drives takes hours.

    You need a USB loader to Rip the Wii games to external HDD. Use wiiflow or CFG USB Loader you can get them in my sig link (USB loader releases).

    Then if you wish you can extract the ISO from your HDD and put it onto your PC.
