So your Wii is currently 3.2U I believe. I thought it should be 3.2E by virtue of your location. I've never heard of Korean to PAL conversions though, it's usually to USA. You also have the Korean IOS still in place (IOS40-45), although I am unsure whether these would be removed on a competent region change.

No newer games will work on this setup becuase you lack IOS38, 53, 55, 56 and 57 which are used in the games released in the last year.

My thought is that you need to re-install (Using WAD Manager and IOS249)

    IOS30 v1040 http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?mvmjiddwdqj

    and

System Menu 3.2E 3.2E-SystemMenu-PAL-v290.rar to un semi-brick your Wii,

    If that fails then

    IOS30 v1040 http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?mvmjiddwdqj

    and

System Menu 3.2U would do it. 3.2U-SystemMenu-v289-NTSCU.rar

Once the semi-brick is gone you'll need to install IOS38, 53, 55, 56 and 57 to assure compatibility with latest games and also update your Neogamma loader to the latest version to pick up #002 error fixing. Let's get rid of the semi-brick first though.

Thanks a lot for the inputs. A couple of quick queries -

    1. How do you find out that this is firmware version 3.2 (This is just for my understanding)?
    2. Also any particular reason why you are suggesting trying to upgrade first to 3.2E and not 3.2U. The reason i ask is that i will mostly be downloading the games and hence do not necesaarily need the PAL version.

    1) It's 3.2 because IOS30 v1040 is the only System IOS you have installed and it goes with Sys Menu 3.2.

    2) It's my understanding that India uses the PAL B Television system, I don't know what the B bit is but it's not NTSC. In addition you say you have a System settings error, which suggests a semi-brick and the usual way to fix is by installing the correct menu. So if it's bricked on USA then surely PAL would unbrick it.

I've already shown you what you need to do..

My thought is that you need to re-install (Using WAD Manager and IOS249)

    IOS30 v1040 IOS30-64-v1040.wad

    and

System Menu 3.2E 3.2E-SystemMenu-PAL-v290.rar to un semi-brick your Wii,

    If that fails then

    IOS30 v1040 IOS30-64-v1040.wad

    and

System Menu 3.2U would do it. 3.2U-SystemMenu-v289-NTSCU.rar
I'm not a Teacher and I'm not here to spoon feed every person who comes here. It's up to you to learn how to use WAD Manager. I've provided enough information so that with a bit of searching and learning the task can be performed. I am not going to create a step by step tutorial for one person, especially one who isn't even a Donator and hasn't thanked a single one of my helpful posts.

Need urgent help.. I tried to install IOS30 v1040 and System Menu 3.2E as you had suggested. Both the installs worked fine. However now when i restart my wii i just get a blank screen. Please help!!!

I used WAD manager 1.5 for the install and used IOS249 in the first option and used the default options in other 2.

    Strange, it shouldn't have.

Are you sure you installed and didn't uninstall? Should have taken a few minutes to install the menu. Did it?

Are you able to boot recovery menu? Gamecube controller in Port 4, press Up, Down, Left and Right at the time when you start the Wii.
