Always get GX from the Google Source Page to ensure you have an official release. Just type USB Loader GX in Google and it'll be one of the first links to pop up.

True that link, but not necessarily what the member was needing it for (may well be, but just as likely to play via disc...)

True, but the links inside the link. It's got the info and the tools there for the USB loader.

A good alternative is wiiflow, have used it on lots of wii's with no problems.

Download wiiflow here: WiiFlow USB Loader - Downloads
    Choose full version.
    Unzip downloaded folder.
You will be left with 3 folders (ignore text files) apps, WAD and wiiflow.

In the apps folder there is wiiflow_249, rename this wiiflow and put it in apps folder on your sd card.

In WAD folder there is a WAD called WiiFlow StarNight Channel Forwarder-WSNF.wad put it in WAD folder on your sd card.

Put wiiflow folder that is left straight on your sd card root.

You should alreay have WAD manager.

So here is how to install.

Go to homebrew channel, go to WAD manager, click A until in install page, highligh wiiflow wad and install it.

That is wiiflow ready for your hard drive.
