Easiest/Best method for playing WiiWare/VC wads from SD card?

I have been googling various ways to launch wads from the SD card but the plethora of ways that is can be done is slightly obfuscating things for me.

I am looking for the simplest way to accomplish this, however, most of the tutorials I have found point to using either geckoOS or triforce to do this. I am unsure which of these would be the best to use out of these and if the guides I am looking at are still in date or not. I am on 4.1u. If anyone can point me to a simple, concise tutorial on how to do this I would be much obliged.

It is the safest way to use Triiforce for the wads. There is a guide in the Tutorials section for setting up Triiforce. Or else you could just install them with wad manager. But that can easily brick your Wii.

Is your Wii softmodded and have you ever used Wad Manager via the Homebrew Channel?

That would do for one or 2 WADs here & there, but if you wish to install a lot of WADs, then an Emu Nand would be the next step.

I would not call installing Triiforce "simple" but there is a concise tutorial in the Tutorials section, click on it in the top row next to forums above.

I saw the Triiforce guide while browsing but the length of it scared me away. I am just a bit tired right now so I was hoping for something fairly intuitive and without too many steps. I suppose I'll just be patient and give it a go tomorrow though.

Yeah, my Wii is softmodded and I have been using Wad Manager to install/uninstall wads thus far. However, the other day I ran into the problem of installing too many wads and my Wii refusing to return to the Wii menu until I deleted some (I was scared that I had bricked the thing :O ). So, I decided that I needed to have an alternate way to launch wads in the future. I have a 8gb MircoSDHC card and SD card reader I have been using to lauch homebrew apps off of, would that be compatible with Triiforce?
