    Question What is bootmii

hi, im kinda new to this, i got my wii with the homebrew channel. however, it only has one option, its called bootmii, the rest of he options are info and a shutdown button.

is that bootmii thing the program you use to load stuff from you sd card like emulators and programs?

oh yes, and every time i launch it, the screen goes black and the the blue light where the cds are loaded keeps flashing.

    thanks for your time.

bootmii is brick protection. You can use it to make a nand back up of your wii memory in case you ever brick. There is bootmii as boot2 and bootmii as an ios. boot2 is the best. To see more programs in homebrew you need to add apps on there. Do you have any forwarders installed? Which guide did you use to softmod?

    ok got it now.

another thing, for that homebrew browser, i need an internet connection. i have it but everytime i try to connec, the update window pops up. i already got a v.4.2u wii, but it keeps trying to update the wii.

how do i turn that update thing off? i just disconnect the wii when it is trying to update.
that damn window doesnt have a cancel button.
