Help with V2.1 of duplicate channel remover

I have 4.2E
3 weather channels
3 news channels
I have 'moved' the wrong ones (japanese and possibly US) to a spare page but would like to delete them to free memory.
I have created a new directory in Apps on SD
Downloaded V2.1 of DCR
renamed to boot.elf and boot .dol.
boot.elf is invalid for my HBC so deleted it and run boot.dol
App start to run and reports 69 channels and asks to hit A or reset to continue.
I hit A and the system locks up (light goes out on remote) and I have to manually reboot.
Channels still there so it looks like the Wii is locking up when I run the DCR.
All still works Ok but the channels have not been removed.
Any ideas ?

Ok guys - no need to reply, I found a solution.
used WBFS to burn the DCR iso onto my USB drive and ran it from there.
no idea whay the .dol didn't work, but for others that may have trouble I used the V2 of DCR and teated it just like a game. After loading it to my drive with WBFS, uloader found it and when I ran it, it found my 4 duplicates and removed them. No extra blocks but at least it is tidier !
Hope this may help others by posting my own solution.
