Question how can i install rev 14+neogamma 7

    Hi all,

Because i can`t play my backup i want to upgrade to a config that will play a backup of NSMB.

I softmodded my wii some time ago (that`s why i forgot) to these specs:
    FW 3.3e (untouched)
HBC 1.0.1 (here it says IOS36v4.18)
Cios S38v12 (Its in APPS on my SD card so must have installed it)
    Neogamma R6 (says IOS 249 (rev12)

What do i have to to upgrade to a spec that can handle NSMB?
I want to burn my backup to dvd.
I read that rev14 and neogamma 7 is the way to go (is this correct ?)

I downloaded the Wii softmod files from the tut on this site.

Then I dragged WAD manager 1.4 to my SD but can`t see it in HBC so deleted it again from SD. Also download rev cios38rev14 installer but don`t know what to do..

can someone help me? Thanks in advance

    Hello peter1313,

Try installing cios38rev17 (try http://www.wiihacks.com/member-submi...-released.html or FileTrip - cIOS Installer 38r17) with the latest version of Neogamma. If that doesn't work, try using a USB loader (my personal favorite is USB loader GX: Downloads (USB Loader GX)). If that doesn't do the trick, try this guide: http://www.wiihacks.com/wii-games/28...ario-bros.html
    Good luck!

You would be better off to just go to the 3.1-4.1 softmod guide, download the files, and start on the line that says to install cios rev17. follow the rest of the guide as well as this will update your system menu to a more stable version (4.1) that has the ability to use preloader, and install aditional ios files as well.

Thanks everything worked out perfect. Now on 4.1 with rev17 and neogamma8.

Already had a backup of SMNB and just tested it. Didn`t work but i`m convinced, regarding the source, that one is not suitable for burning on a verbatim. Guess ė`ll be needing a version from usenet to patch ... if I can find it..

If you any suggestions please let me know and thanks for the help!

There is a guide to patch the iso in the games section. although i thought there was a fix in the new cios, but give it a shot.
