    Ripping game with gsx loader

is there any advantage of ripping it 1:1 versus the default way? doing punch out is 4 gigs but not 1:1 is a lot less? what's the difference?

in order for the wii to read the iso on a disk it needs to fill the disk up to read it so if the game is 2gb then they fill the other 2.7gb up with empty blocks to fill the disk. Ripping with usb loader gx or wbfs manager just takes the game from the disk then scrubbes the rest so thats why the game is a smaller size when playing off of a usb. There is no difference in gameplay.

remeber to hit thanks if i have helped in any way

Wow, you actually understood the question. I had no idea what this was supposed to mean. The best way to rip a game is with an app like usb loader gx that will rip the data right to the usb device.

Mine takes 2 to 12 minutes depending on game size, hell some downloads only take 1 to 2 hrs. What version loader are you using? Is it the recommended loader for your mod?
