USB loader GX is only used for loading games from the harddisk. It's no brick blocker.

To be certain you don't brick your Wii. Read this carefully.

When you transfer and ISO to the HDD using WBFS manager, it automatically scrubs the image for you. So it's is like brick prevention as in it removes the update partition from the ISO. SO if you have a PAL game and try to run it on an NTSC console, it won't try to update the console with the PAL system menu and brick your Wii.

    USB Loader

hi i am new and this is my first reply. I just want to make sure i am understanding this correctly.
When you put a Wii game into the Wii and have install to your harddrive it does NOT patch it in anyway to prevent bricking or updating, but if you take the iso and put it in through WBFS manager it will prevent bricking and updates.

If i am right in that what is the best method to prevent brick blocking for the games i installed through the Wii?

    thanks for your help

If your using usb loader gx to rip your games from the wii to your hard drive it DOES remove the update partition, just like using wbfs from your PC. So you can do it either way and there will be no update partion on the image on your hard drive.
