Right Stuff with PriiLoader, Channels, USB

I have wii with 4.2U installed. Running HBC with apps like (Genesis Emulator, Super N Emulator, USB Loader). I have installed PriiLoader with the hacks for things like stop automatic disc updates and setting region free. I also have a Channel made for USB Loader. My backups work fine too so no DVD disc needed as running from the USB drive.

    1. What do I need to do to "Back Up" anything that I may need to compliment use of PriiLoader for anything else?
    2. Is is safe to leave the SD Card and USB HDD plugged into Wii all the time now? When should either be removed before powering, etc.?
    3. Is there a way to have the "Return to Wii Menu" (like from pressing the Home button on Remote) take you to Wii Menu for Disc games, but when launching a back up game from USB Loader, if you select "Wii Menu" I currently have to relaunch the USB Loader Channel again and start it up. So I want to know if there is a way to have USB games "Wii Menu" take me back to USB Loader (already started with where it shows my games list)?
    4. A link to how to install a Channel for SNES, or Genesis, or N64 Emulator channels would be great....
    5. A link to best place to download HBC applications...

    Thanks.

    I can answer a few

    1. What do I need to do to "Back Up" anything that I may need to compliment use of PriiLoader for anything else?
All you really need to make sure of is to have done a NAND backup as part of the install. If you missed this step do it now and save a copy of the files to a safe place.

    2. Is is safe to leave the SD Card and USB HDD plugged into Wii all the time now? When should either be removed before powering, etc.?
Depends what you mean by safe. If there is a chance that anyone else e.g. kids, wife, roomie is going to start messing about with apps under HBC then remove the SD card.

It is always best to add/remove cards or HDD when powered down as unlike windows the system can't (for HDD) stop the disc spinning before you disconnect.
I believe this can be done by setting a file ro run in preloader/priiloader. Search for a post as this has been answered before.

    4. A link to how to install a Channel for SNES, or Genesis, or N64 Emulator channels would be great....
Try here for a starter. (you really need to improve on your 'search' skills .

    5. A link to best place to download HBC applications...
