    Hi, newbie help!

Hi everyone, real happy I found this site, great work everyone. I just softmodded my wii 4.2U a couple weeks ago and got wii games to work great from a harddrive. Now I'm trying to get some emulators to work from the harddrive, originally created a partition, one wbfs and the other fat32, but I cant seem to set the fat32 partition as primary and active? I tried everything I knew. I tried to do it through disk amagment on my computer but when I right click on the fat32 partition it does not show the option to set as primary and active, tried the same thing with EASEUS, does'nt give the option either? Any help?

Hey bud. This is on a friendly note. This site absolutely FROWNS upon multiple posting like you're doing. Just sit tight and wait for a reply. I'm sure someone will come up with a solution for your problem.

That happens to me on occasion also, usually if I have a few downloads going. I just refresh the page if it happens now.

You can only have one primary active partition. I don't think that you can simply switch between different partitions and set them as primary and active without some instability. I have never done this before, but I am sure there is a guide to running wbfs and emulator games from one guide. I only have one question: why don't you just save your emulator games to a USB stick or an SD card formatted FAT? It seems a lot easier. If your card is small, you can just take them from your drive and move them to the card or drive. See this site Active Partitions and Boot Managers

Thanks for the help guys. I finally figured it out. I just had to reformat the partion and then it gave me the option to set it as primary and I was able to switch that partion to acitve from there. If this did'nt work I was just going to use an SD card but since I had 1TB of space on the harddrive I thought that I would try it through there. Thanks again.
