    USB Loader 1.5

    Hi i'm wondering if anyone can shed some light on this problem i'm having. I have usb loader 1.5 installed on my wii with a 300 gig external HD. The problem is it was working fine till yesterday, now when i goto to select the storage device it come up with ( mounting device, please wait....( 30 seconds timeout)????? and doesnt load the external HD and freezes the wii. ( i have switched usb on the back of the wii and still the same. I have also got cover floader but when i try to load this it comes up with initialize WBFS game list and freezes???? can anyne shed some light on this please.

    where are usb loader config files stored?

    hi, thanks for the reply, looks like they are on the sd card and they have always been there.

    My guess is that either someone updated your Wii (thus removing the hax) or the files became corrupted. Why don't you do a complete reinstall and then see if the same thing happens? It's a pain in the butt, but its not going to fix itself.

    So the loader v1.5 has worked for you in the past?

    The USB Drive should be in the port nearest to the edge of the wii.

    Maybe the loader has become corrupt, it could be an SD card issue.

    I think there could be many solutions to this problem.

    I would get another copy of the loader as it may have had the corruption in it in the first instance and try it with that.

    I have a 4.2E a 250gb Drive fully in WBFS the loader.
    All the art work is there on around 100 or so games.

    Occasionally it will freeze on loading but a restart sorts it out every time.

    hi, ive just downloaded the wbfs and its showing all the games are there on the external drive. i will have look at the sd card and download the loader again.

    the only thing that has been installed since i last knew it was working was the shopping channel bypass (this was done via homebrew channel... and bbc iplayer.

    hi, yes its worked in the past both usbloader and coverfloader.

    hi, this is absolute crazy. ive just put the drive back in the wii after it had been attached to the pc with wbfs and guess what.......its bloody working again!!!!!!!
