    Using Wii Shop without updating?

I know that this WAS possible, and am assuming it still is. I have been away from my Wii for quite some time and the last thing I wanted to get working on it was the Opera Browser. I could NEVER get it working with many, many hours put into it.

Anyway, I recently read that the Opera Browser is now free in the Shop. I need to know as of NOW what is the method of getting to the shop without updating.

I searched and came up with this:

Wii Shop and IOS61 installer - WiiBrew

If that would work please just say so. Also I am currently using 3.2U. Should I upgrade to a different menu? Or is 3.2U still good.

    Thanks for any help!

Hey, I wanted to do the same thing. I don't know what system you're running, but I'm on 4.1 and I used WiiSCU to update it.
Go to WiiBrew and search WiiSCU, and it should tell you what version of WiiSCU to use depending on your system version.
Just run that in HBC and it should work.
Use at your own risk though, I'm no expert at this stuff.

    Hey thanks for the reply!

I'll look into it, I remember hearing about that program before but not what you could use it for. Anyway thanks again.
